About the Authors

Tracy Lucas lives near Nashville , TN , and spends her time writing, reading, and raising her three
kids. She and her husband are community theatre addicts and involve themselves in as many random
artistic endeavors as humanly possible. Her favorite function is that of editor, regardless of the
format; her previous editorial jaunts have included books, short fiction, journalistic pieces, and a
children's magazine.  While Tracy has published poetry, photography, news articles, and essays, her
day job is as the owner of Four Square Creative, a graphics design and editing firm.

Paula Underwood Winters is the editor of the Westview Newspaper, a family-owned community
newspaper where she has worked since 1979.  She is also co-owner of Published by Westview,
Inc.  Her photography training came from her father, Doug Underwood, an award-wining news
photographer, who started her in the darkroom before she could reach the enlarger.  She is currently
writing a novel and is working on another photography book, Onstage and Backstage, a book of
photographsw taken through the years while traveling to different gigs with her husband, Donnie
Winters of the Winters Brothers Band.
